In the spring of 1996,  I organized a series of three photoshoots with two nightclub bouncers, Cor Schermer and Chas Cooman.
They both worked at Amnesia, a club in the basement of the Hotel Royal Kabul in the red-light district of Amsterdam.
The first session took place after closing time in Amnesia, between 7 and 9 a.m., a second session took place in one of the hotel rooms, and the last session in a residential flat in the Bijlmer.
During the photo shoots, Cor and Chas performed a series of spontaneous karate moves and the splits.
